I want to start a blog. I’ve wanted to for years. I’ve intended to for years.
People tell me I should start a blog. I’m interesting and lead an interesting life. A friend even paid for an online blog course for me, to get me started, years ago.
I’ve taught myself how to build WordPress websites. I’ve built and published 2 in the past for my projects. I’ve had my own site semi built in the background for years.
So why’s it so bloody hard to get started and hit publish?
I have theories, lots of them, but honestly I don’t even care for my own excuses anymore. I JUST WANT TO GET STARTED! And guess what? I JUST DID IT!

I’m not ready. My website isn’t ready. I still have so much to do and learn. I have been writing and re-writing my ‘Home’ and ‘About’ page forever, so I just hid them. I’ll continue to work on them in the background till I’m happy to unhide them. I still have so much to do and I don’t really even know what I’m doing. But I just don’t care! I just want to get started. #progressnotperfection
So here we go. Here’s to getting shit done. Embracing being amateurs and hitting publish anyways. It always gets easier as you go along, always.
